Patient care at the Caledon East Dentistry office begins with prevention of dental disease, and prevention begins with the dental hygienists.  The best strategy for optimum oral health is obtained with a proper routine at home, regular dental office cleanings and oral examinations. The hygienists are trained not only to clean the teeth and gums, but to assess the overall health of all the tissues, which includes an oral cancer screening. The Caledon East Dentistry’s team of hygienists work with each patient to suggest the best tools to use for brushing and flossing or oral rinsing, and may suggest diet alterations to improve the overall condition of the mouth.  We’re happy to say, all our hygienists are mothers too, they take pride in the gentle care of all children, and work hard to make each visit a positive experience.
