Bridges and implants are two ways to replace missing tooth/teeth. Bridges are artificial teeth anchored in place by neighbouring teeth. A typical bridge consists of two crowns on the anchoring teeth, with the false tooth spanned in the middle. Once cemented into place, it is fixed and not removable.
 
Dental implants are artificial roots placed under the gumline and they require a period of time to fuse with the jawbone (osseointegration) before being restored with crowns, bridges, or dentures on top. We work in collaboration with specialists to provide dental implants for our patients.
