Dr. Chandra completed his early education at Mahajana College and successfully completed his High School education at Skanthavarothaya College, in Jaffna, Sri Lanka in 1972. Then he entered the University of Ceylon – Peradeniya Campus, and satisfyingly completed a degree in the Bachelor of Dental Surgery, in 1975.
