Dr. Nathan Miskin is a caring and compassionate professional who truly loves dentistry. Dr. Nathan's favourite aspect of practicing dentistry is the opportunity to make long-lasting and meaningful relationships with his patients. He is a gentle and caring dentist who believes that dental care should be personalized. Dr. Nathan always goes out of his way to explain all aspects of your oral health and makes sure your experience is a positive one. Dr. Nathan is interested in all aspects of dentistry and is great with patients of all ages. He is licensed in conscious moderate sedation and can offer a combination of oral sedation and nitrous oxide for very anxious patients. In his final year of dental school, Dr. Nathan was granted two awards, the London & District Dental Society Award and the Dr. Igor Bolta memorial Award in Restorative Dentistry. These distinctions are awarded to one fourth year student for clinical and academic excellence and who has demonstrated, throughout the four years of the dentistry program, excellence in the four disciplines of Restorative Dentistry. Dr. Nathan is very proud of these awards because they reflect the aspects of dentistry that are most important to him, relationships with his patients and providing excellent quality dentistry. Dr. Nathan Miskin was born in Ajax and attended Frenchman's Bay Public school followed by Ajax High School. After high school, Dr. Nathan attended The University of Western Ontario and received his Honours Bachelor of Science in Medical Science. Dr. Nathan has a passion for science and making relationships with people. It is because of this that he decided to go into dentistry. Dr. Nathan was accepted into the Dentistry program at The University of Western Ontario and graduated with distinction in 2018. Volunteering and supporting people without access to care is very important to Dr. Nathan. He participated in a mission trip to the Philippines where he was able to bring modern dental care to groups of people in need. In June 2018 Dr. Nathan participated in a mission trip to Guatemala City, Guatemala to provide modern dental care to groups of people in need and at the same time became proficient in surgical wisdom tooth extractions. Dr. Nathan currently lives in Ajax with his fiancé Emily and their dog Tucker. They are all proud to be part of the local Ajax community.
